This project involved the renovation of a 1880 limestone cottage in Fremantle.
Works involved renovation and remodeling of an existing kitchen and dining area, as well as a bathroom and laundry. A new ensuite was constructed off the man bedroom. A wide spanning deck was also added under the extended main roof.
On completion of the project, the client provided the following feedback:
“Our 1880 limestone house in Fremantle has taken on a new lease of life thanks to Addstyle’s professionalism in updating our kitchen/dining area, bathroom and laundry, as well as installing an ensuite and large roofed deck.
We were particularly impressed, first, by Addstyle’s speedy and detailed response to our initial query. Second, we appreciated Addstyle’s attention to detail, from their design ideas to their workmanship in restoring the house’s ‘traditional’ features and matching up existing cornices, architraves, etc. Third, as the renovation progressed we were struck by their flexibility in dealing with the unforeseen issues that invariably arise when renovating an old ‘character’ house. Fourth, we were impressed by the professionalism and enthusiasm of the Addstyle people, including those with whom we had very regular contact (our supervisor Pete and client manager Dee).
Overall, the project was much less stressful than we expected and we are delighted with the result”.
